Do emerald and porcelain crabs require any special feeding care? I am aware that emeralds are algae eaters and porcelains are filter feeders, but other than that, should I put in a little extra something for one or both?

I don't put anything in the tank specifically for the crabs. They always seem to find the odd flake or pellet. They also get pieces of the Selcon treated clams I feed my anemones that the fish miss. Mine will pull small bits of clam off the toothpic I use to feed the anemones. I don't do that very often though. If you are concerned that yours aren't finding enough food, you could try that.

Yeah, neither really needs special feeding. Emerald crabs graze mostly, but will pick up the odd bit of food. Porcelain crabs will eat anything that drifts by.
