I've heard it mentioned twice recently in other threads, so I thought I'd ask. What test kits are okay to use when using Amquel or Ammo-lock? How does it show false? Way too high or none at all? Just curious, and thanks for the responses.

You need to use salicylate based ammonia tests when using those conditioners. They contain two reagents, rather than one, with which to conduct the test.
Using a Nessler based test will give you false positive readings for ammonia.
