I just bought a male and female Sailfin Molly and I just love these kind of mollies! And they chase each other and I know that probably means the male wants to breed, but is it normal if my male chases my platys around also?

Swordtails and platies can. I read speculation that Mollies and platies can, but sicne a female livebearer can stay pregnant for a logn time it could just be that people get confused.
You mighr want to add another female if you get the chance. The male could harrass her to death.

My tank is overloaded with mollies. These fish never stop eating, swimming or mating. I don't view their activity as aggressive.
My plecostomas on the other hand has become quite aggressive. I believe this is due to overcrowding. I need a bigger tank.

My females can get aggressive when they are pregnant. And, of course, they are pregnant a lot. I see lots of raised and flared fins from the females when they are trying to establish territory to give birth. Nothing too violent, mind, you. Mostly just a chase followed by a poor male molly moping off for a bit.
They will have babies soon and I don't feel like raising up fry right because I think it is alot of work and if she spawns in the tank can I just leave they babies in there?

There is always a chance a fry or two will survive. You can lower the odds of that happening. You could only feed big flakes of food, nothing too crushed. You could remove cover. You could buy some ghost shrimp (mine love my molly fry). Or, you could net them, bag em in some tank water and freeze them. Once they are hard, drop them into the trash outside and be done with it. It's your call.
