Can anyone help???? for the past 5 months my goldfishes stomach has grown. First thought it was pregnant, but not the case, it dosent seem to be ill. still eating but seems happy enough. Tried peas dont work, fish is getting bigger and bigger. Just been up to look at it and it looks like it is going to burst.

Don't understand what you mean by test levels. Just a medium sized tank with 2 goldfish and one of those sucking, tank cleaning fish. You can tell I'm a fish expert can't you :idea2:
How many gallons is the tank? By test levels he means what are your ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH and possibly phosphate readings. You determine this through testing kits you can buy at your local fish store.
Also, how often do you change your water? What kind of gravel do you have in the bottom? Or is it sand or nothing at all? Do you use a filter?

I am guseeing it may have something to do with the fact the goldfish need at least 20g each. They may be be to big for your tank or something like that.
Without seeing the answers to the other questions I would say either Dropsey or constipation. The pea might not have worked and sicne it has been a month it doesn't seem to me to be constipation. I would do a search for the symptoms of dropsey and see if that is close.
