yes..

liveaquaria.com and *****************

I trust liveaquaria over aquariumfish, but i bought from aquariumfish because liveaquaria didn't have the puffer fish i wanted... Thats how i got my two little guys!

I only bought as an extreme since NO WHERE did they have Figure 8 Puffer fish... The only real problem I see is the cost of $25 of shipping... but it was worth it!

mine were bagged with another bag around it, in a box with newspaper to cushion it. delivered by our regular mail. I think they were in there 4 days if the dude shipped them when he said he would. They are least killifish, native to Florida, USA, and they are really tiny, so there wasn't a lot of waste and they were fine without food. they actually arrived the day after a big ice/snow storm. there were no deaths and they were/are very active.

I am sure pet stores get their animals the same way, so I guess it all works out.

Good luck on your quest!

I bought some ancistrus - they came via special delivery in bags, inside a polystyrene box. Post Office guarantee delivery before 12 the day after fish are sent, so as long as they are sent p.m. they are not in transit any longer than say from point of origin to shop.

Would only do this though if it were fish I particularly wanted, and my lfs is pretty good about getting fish in that I want.

The famous e-bay often has fish advertised, and some of these can be sent through the post.

yep, not only this, they pack heat-packs or cooling-packs depending if it is summer or not... liveaquaria.com guarantees if u order before 1 PM, you get your order the SAME day

I've bought hundreds of fish online and sold hundreds more.

You just gotta find someone with a good track record of shipping fish and stick with them. Even in the winter time, I rarely have a problem with fish shipped to me, or fish that I've shipped.

You should try www.aquabid.com ... You'll find tons of quality breeders selling stuff on there. Not sure if the website is still down though, they got hacked earlier in the week....

Try the following

Tri Mar aquaria - ship fish and stock a wide range of species - based local to me in cornwall. Excellent shop but never used their mail order as I can collect. www.trimar.co.uk

www.oddballsexpress.com

www.tropicalfishdirect.co.uk

you could also have a look at tropicalfishfinder.co.uk

If I were you I would read around the site and check with people who have ordered from them before you order, and makesure when you open the box of fish, its in a dark room. Also, When introducing the fish, make sure the tank decor is rearanged so the other fish can't call it home and try to protect their territory with agressivness.

Leaving the tank lights off for a few hours after the fish go in to the aquarium will majorly reduce stress from the move.

Hope that helped!

just got fish yesterday from jeff rapps. he should ship anywhere; its going to cost a lot so you can try to get a huge group order or a local fish store to do an order from them. i think live aquaria cost too much.
