I just noticed one of the new pandas I bought 3 days ago has Popeye. I took him out this morning and am going to take him back to the LFS. Question: Since it is a newly cycled 42 gall tank w/ only 7 small fish in it (danios, guppies and lonely panda brother) what are the chances it came from my tank?? My ammonia is 0, nitrite 0, nitrate between 20-40 and pH 7.5. I even have some guppy fry doing fine.
Do I have to treat the whole tank w/ Maracyn-2? I just built up my bacteria during cycling and don't want to kill it treating the tank! PLEASE HELP!
Can I replace the cory so his 'brother' doesn't get lonely? Or should I wait to add fish? How long?
