What kind of goby am I?

I've had him for a year........

haven't seen one like him for sale anywhere since then. I was told he was simply called a black goby but I'm pretty **** sure thats not his name.

I Thought he was a marbled goby but his coloration doesn't match....

He is about 5 inches long and a very cool inhabitant of my tank.

Definately not a clown goby....

Clowns are saltwater, the one I have is a freshwater/brackish fish. My aquarium is brackish. Clowns are also pretty small, at least the ones I've seen.

Hmm, do you have any other pics that might do him justice?? In this pice he looks kinda deformed. The only thing I can go by is his colouration and lack of the conjoined pec fin thing that most gobies have.

He definately isnt a marbled, they get huge and are insanely aggresive towards anything small enough to fit in their mouths.

He has conjoined pec fin but you just can't see it in the pic..... he is most definately not deformed. :thud:
