Good Morning - I am currently running a 3yr old 75g FOWLR and couple of inverts. I currently have a Huma (sm), Stars & stripes (sm), Hipo, & a mated pair of clowns. Up until 5 weeks ago I also had a Blenny and two of the clowns from my mate’s last hatch (sold the rest). 6 weeks ago I took a friends porc puffer for a week while he moved. Fish looked fine and I know my friend well. 5days later my Blenny died a horrible death from velvet but the balance of the tank did not appear to infected. I immediately began kick ich and rally and 2days later lost the baby clowns to the parasite. I continued with the kick and Rally through the dosage, and began using RXP as I have had success in my reef tank in the past and hope to fend off the parasite until I figure out what to do. Does anyone have any idea why only these three fish would be infected and not the balance? Has anyone had success with the treatments above for velvet?
