Chat room... Hello? Hello?

Doesn't anyone ever use the chat room here? Maybe if a certain topic was scheduled for chat, those interested could go there? Just a suggestion.

Oh, not just one tank now!!! My daughter's jealous of her brother's BIGGER tank that he just got, and feeling like her tank's pretty puny. I jokingly asked my seller if she had any other tanks for sale. I should have expected it..."I just so happen to have..." -- So daughter's going to get a 15-gal. Guess I'll have take her 10-gal. in trade and start another tank for my bedroom... darn! :)

Which one? The 50 is about 36x18x18. The 15 is 13x13x26 -- one of those tall ones that has it's own stand/cabinet. Hmmmm. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm wondering if maybe this tank wouldn't work for her after all, as she will have the following in there, too: the loach, a half dozen glass tetras, a handful of endlers livebearers (freebies from the seller!), her snail and a shrimp or two. I believe I've heard that angels will eat the shrimp. Will the floorplan be just too small to support those speedy tetras and livebearers?

Hmmmmmm... sounds like a good topic for the chat room. ;) I too have noticed a lack of interest in that area. I think the GCC forrum is where most of the chatters go. It's better because of all the linking and attaching and whutnot.

I was hopeing for more in the chat room too, instant answers. My looming question is has anyone been successful putting a betta in with oranda fantails, even a female betta?

I've got no clue, but this is something you could probably post in the forums and get some results. I know they might not be instant, but its better than nothing.
