Rubber plecos

I bought one of these little dudes today for my community 30G tank. A few angels and snails in there as well.

I was wanting to get info on this version of the pleco. Are they hearty? What size do they get? Diet? pH? Disposition?

I have one, they kind of grow on you after a while, pretty cute with its wide mouth and up turned nose. He gets really active when algea pellets are dropped into the tank,other wise he hides in his cave, which he shares with some clown loaches
