Hey all, this is my first post
Earlier today, I was looking in my aquarium when I noticed my 3 in. male GT was missing. I searched all around and finally found him on the floor behind the tank. I quickly scooped him up and threw him back in. He sank to the bottom and just sat there.
I thought he was dead, and after a few minutes, was going to remove him when he started moving his gills. My 3 in. blue gourami went over and tried pecking at him, but my 2.5 in. female GT swam over and chased it away. This happened repeatedly and finally the gourami gave up. The female picked some of the dust off of the male and pushed him into a corner behind a rock. She sat out in front of the rock, keeping the gourami away as the male recovered.
He's fine now and swimming normally. I just wanted to share this with everyone as I've never seen this happen before. Anyone else with similar stories?
