Is today the first time you changed the water? If so then the guppies died due to ammonia and nitrite poisoning. Your tank isn't cycled yet and daily water changes of a minimum of 25% are needed. If you have test kits then do water changes to keep the ammonia well under 1ppm and nitrite under 0.25 ppm. I also suggest you go the the top of the newbie forum and read the sticky on cycling tanks.

I've had so much trouble with guppies! In the last few months i've lost well over 10 to all different conditions, I will no longer keep them. I have one left

Hey galaga girl my friend is trying to raise guppies too and he has lost so far I think around 5. The reason he lost them is because he overstocked and didn't listen to my advice, but thats not the point. When I first started out I didn't know a thing about cycling and everything else important to fish keeping. I bought like 20 fish for my 20 gal and one by one they all died except one gourami. I think I overheated them but thats not the point.

I decided to start up again on aquariums, but before I even did I decided to do some research online. I spent about a month just looking at different websites for different ways to start out and I took everything slowly. Now I have had my tanks for about 5 months with the same angelfish, same zebra I FIRST bought and even a Flame tetra with one eye! Sorry for all this rambling but I just don't think you should quit because its all good once you get it right!

sounds like a water problem more then a fish problem, could be wrong I am not familiar with guppies but that high of a death rate is unusual ( i think ). Do you have pH water test kit and nitrite\nitrate test kit, If not, purchase them and they may give you the answer to your question.
