Once again another post to get people talking.

I know many people keep FW fish from all over the world, which are kept at different temps. What about some SW fish from colder waters? Would this not be feasable because of cloudy conditions or not being able to replicate the environment?

I hope this doesnt sound like a stupid question, just curios.

I knoe where I live we have some beutiful Stripped bass, Blue fish, flounder, and fluke that if the right tank could be provided it woul look really cool.

A buddy of mine went to CW post located on the eastern shore of Long Island, NY and they used to keep all types of tanks setup with fish from the east end of Long Island. He was also studying to be a mirine bioligist so they had some big setups and the staff. Anybody ever think of trying something like that at home?

A lot also has to do with the size--most cool/cold water marine fish are big, needing a larger tank as adults than most of us can provide.
