Good, it makes sense to have one. What size tank do you have?

Well I guess I am still going to have to use a bucket, to take water out of the tanks, Im not using the python for that and have fish waste go in the kitchen sink.

Why not? I have my python knock-off going to my kitchen sink, and when I get in there to switch the flow to fill the tanks, I don't see anything. There are tons and tons of germs in your sink already, more then a public toilet. So, it really doesn't matter.

Do you have any bleach in your home? Bleach water will sterilize anything.

Even though the sink does probably have lots of germs and I could just bleach it when I was done, I still dont like the thoughts of it, since the dirty dishes go in the sink. Just having a python to fill the tanks back up is good enough for me.

Dude, don't worry about it, the water with the crap just go right down the drain, nothing stays in the sink. But, hey, you do what you wanna do.

I recommend using gravity and letting the python put the water in your yard or similar area where plants can use it. Thiswould waste less water and make some plants happy. This could be a problem if you live in an upper story apartment.

Why not get the syphon going unscrew it and set the end on the edge of the toilet and let it drain that way? Most toilets will not overflow. I hook my up to the guest bathroom sink, and clean it up when I get finished.
