Help with plants in sand

Hello...
newbee here in this forum and let me say thanks now for any help

Ok...ive got sand for my tank bed and a few plants that are in there pots still
I would like to remove the pots and plant them in the sand..But im worried that they wont stay there long....Any idea's on how to keep them down?

My plants stay in the sand just fine with no help from me. How deep is your substrate?

1 1/2" build up at the pots and 1" elsewhere

My sand is deeper, maybe that's the difference. You acn click the link in my sig and see that my plants are doing fine just stuck in the sand. My sand is two to two and a half inches deep throughout my tank.

Quick Tip. Sand comes in many sizes of particle. Make sure you get the largest size available. The real fine sand has a tendency of packing in so tight that the roots find it difficult to grow. "No root, no plant!"
