Loaches

Hi everyone!!...

What an awesome site. I live on the Ma/NH border and am trying to find some yoyo loaches/ skunk loaches/ red finned loaches. Anybody out there with any suggestions. I have been to all the Big Box stores and have had no luck. Plenty of clown loaches out there though. Perhaps someone out there knows of that little fish store with everything. :bowing:

Special order, or just keep checking back at your LFS. Petsmarts and Petcos rarely have anything other than clowns. My Zebras were a lucky snag for me, and I haven't ever seen any since.

Hi ILPANX,

I live just north of Boston. Tropical Isle Aquarium in Framingham has the widest selection I've found so far. When I was there a few weeks ago, they had Yoyos, Angelicas, maybe some Red-tailed, and of course lots of clowns. No Zebras, which is what I really wanted, but my Clowns are doing great and fit better biotopically. Now if I could just find some dwarf loaches... http://www.tropicisleaquarium.com/ Just give them a call and ask what they have in stock. Also, they're the only LFS I've found nearby with real SAEs. Every time I've been there on the weekend, it's just packed with people, which I consider a good indication of quality.
