As I was admiring my tank this morning, I noticed something odd! It looked as though something was secreted from one of my live rocks. It appeared to look like a puff of white smoke, which then slowly dissipated into the tank. This was also witnessed by my girlfriend, who said she saw it once before but thought that it had come from a fish. Upon closer examination I found no fish in the area so I assume it was the rock. What is this? I am aware that live rock contains all sorts of organisms, but is this something to be concerned about? Or, perhaps should i just get used to it? Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks.
