Hey...when I went to the LFS on monday, to get some tetras for my 10g tank with bettas and 4 cories....I let my mother convince me into getting red-eyes. MISTAKE!

My betta completely HATES them! they swim too fast...hang in "his terretorry" and fly around and swim into him. He seems so unhappy.

If I actually liked the tetras as much as I did in the store, I would move the betta to my empty 2.5g. But...its not heated, and red-eyes get to be 3+"

So, I am returning them, on friday, when I can get a ride to the LFS.

My question is:

Should I get other schooling fish when I go? Or, should I just get more plants and a few more cories? My Buget is limeted to $11. Sad, I know.

That really depends on what you want. If you want to be able to see the fish more often, get schooling fish, but if you're happy with seeing the fish occasionally, by all means get more cories.

All I really care about is my betta being happy....he is SO BEAUTIFUL! I'll have to take pics of the new tank...but he is so amazing...I'm thinking about just getting a few more cories, since the betta would be happier....thanks for the help though guys.
