I've got pinholes, I mean my plants. What other causes this? my no3 ~5, phos don't know but I put 1-2 drop of enema once every 2 days, dose flourish 1/3ml/day, I've put a bunch of K, like 1 tsp over the last week. diy co2 ~20ppm 40w cf spiral 5k. My tank is 10gal. substrate is 3/4 " top soil topped with 1/2 " black sand. There's about 1/4cup of laterite on the very bottom. Very little algae once I got a bristlenose pleco and 3 otos. Thanks for any help.

What type of plants do you have? I've got Cryptocoryne wendtii in my 10g and there are a few leaves with pinholes, so I'm curious if yours are Crypts as well.

Your Pleco might be the culprit. Does he get enough veggie matter in his diet?
I noticed you said you don't have much algae. You may have to suppliment his diet.

not crypts. I think it is some sort of hygro, the underside of the leaves are reddish. Could be the pleco, although I noticed some before him. I will try to get some cucumbers in there. The holes are only on the older leaves, I don't think any of the leaves that sprouted in my tank have holes in them. Forgot to mention I also have mts and ghost shrimp in there. Thanks for helping me.

Hey..if you can put a little driftwood in there (if you don't already have it) your pleco will thank you for that too. They munch on that too.
