FW Shrimps

I have a Bamboo Shrimp (Freshwater) that does the exact same thing, mostly just hanging out filtering food. Occasionally he will go flipping across the tank, but for the most part he's not very active.

I have a couple too. When they're happy (from what I hear and see) they get orange/reddish. The two I have are anyway. They aren't particularly active either.

I also have cherry shrimp. They're much smaller than the bamboo/rock/wood/Singapore shrimp but the females get a much more deep red. They breed in aquaria too!

Amano shrimp, good algae eaters, are not colorful, larger than cherries, still much smaller than bamboo shrimp, don't breed in fresh water. O.k., they breed in fresh water but the juvies need salt water to survive.
