Hi all, I am wondering if anyone has experience with the freshwater dolphin, or other mormyrids, perhaps of the elephantnose family. Here's my question. I read all over they prefer low or dim light. OK, just what do they mean by that? They also like a heavily planted tank. How do you get a planted tank with little light? Without planting weeds, I mean. Plants, as well as fish, need light to prosper don't they? Please help clarify, thanks

A heavily planted tank that provides shaded areas, along with rock or wood structures that form caves, will work. The plant canopy gives the fish someplace to hang out and avoid being in direct, strong light.
