Since adding the male cherry barb to my tank my reclusive females have become even more so. Of course, this is due to his incessant prospects to mate with them. Today, I finally got in my Coralife 28w PC fixture to help with my algae woes.
Now the females are hiding behind the rock and trying to get into the darkest parts of the aquarium. Is it just from the change of light that they are doing this? Will their behavior return to normal, or should I try adding more top cover plants?
Thanks a million.
