I've just stocked my new aqaurium and it is set up as described below. I bought five guppies, and they all died within two days. How delicate are they in terms of handling and PH? I did keep them in the bag from the aquarium shop for nearly three hours (my air pump broke down and I had to go back to the shop and get another) would that have stressed them enough for them to die two days later? I had three die within an hour of each other, and the other two the following day. I've never had so many deaths and can't imagine why. All my other fish are healthy and doing well, so it's a mystery.
Any suggestions as to where I should start looking/what I should do? I adore guppies but I only want to get more if I can figure out what happened this time.
Could my airpump be too strong for them?
