I've had a bannana plant for just over 2 months now. The leaves are still looking good and healthy, but the ribozomes (bananas) are starting to rot. Does this mean the plant is doomed or will more ribozomes grow back?

They should grow back, i think when they start to rot you cut the rotting ones off, you'll have to ask at your LFS or someone who knows more bout these plants on here though.
I have the same experience, i've only had my banana plant a week and it's already grown two new leaves and looks good but one of the bananas rotted the other day. we'll see what happens.
