reed plants?

i am trying to find a plant that would grow like a reed plant like bamboo i want it maybe grow out of the tank any one know of anything like this

There are plenty of plants that can be grown emersed. I would suggest you check out the sectons on The Krib titled "Emersed plants" and the one titled "Bog Plants." Heres the link to the Home page.
