i was thinking about stocking my new trank with german blue rams. i was wondering what you guys were thinking, i was going to take this as a second breeding test, i have bred mollies and i want to move away from live bearers, i hear that the german blue rams stay at about 3 inches, what would be the smallest tank size for a pair? i was just wondering what you guys would suggest? they are the smallest cichlidthat my lfs carries.

I reccommend a 20 gallon, you can probably get away with a 10 but I wouldn't. Their kinda delicate fish, prefer soft acidic water, prefer 6.6-7.2pH. sandy gravel would be good, they like to pickup stones with their mouth. give them some hiding spots and some plants real or fake. few stones.
