Given that a tank is established, how long should I run a brand new sponge filter in the old tank before I move it over to a new tank for the purpose of seeding the new tank? I may use the new sponge filter as the main form of fitation in a 10g, but I need it to at least help with cycling the 10g. Old tank size is a 37g if that helps.
