Which one is a Golden Algae Eater?

this one (http://www2.biology.ualberta.ca/jackson.hp/IWR/Taxa/Cypriniformes/Gyrinocheilidae/Gyrinocheilus/G_aymonieri/Gyrinocheilus_aymonieri_2.jpg)

or this one (http://www.petsmart.com/images/caresheets/0017_150X125.jpg)

or both?

Same species. The second fish is just a gold colour morph.

Both fish I wouldn't touch with a bargepole.

Too late for me, I've had this guy for almost a year now. He may be skittish, and swims as if he is trying to get out of the tank but he is peaceful toward the other tankmates (listed in tank specs below). He also eats only algae, is quite healthy and is growing slowly but steadily (he has grown almost 2" in one year)

The CAE is probably still young. They are known for being ultra-aggressive as they age, and will most certainly dominate the nice tank which you have there. I would suggest a trade with the LFS for a few more Otos, if such a trade could be done!
