I just noticed, I have three baby snails tightly hanging onto a faux barnacle coral.

Does everyone have success with snails repoducing on therir own?

I wonder if my hermit will eat the little guys... he seems to be quite the assassin.

Depends on the species. Cerith and nassarius snails are very prolithic in my tank--to the point where I pull handfulls out of the reef and dump them in with the puffer and trigger as snacks. Most of the larger snails don't reproduce very well in a community setup, IME.

The hermit will probably ignore them until they get some size on them. Depends on the crab though--I had some in my nano that were terrible snail killers. Moved them to the 120, and they haven't touched any of the snails in there.
