Pump Question

I am setting up a tub in the garage with a heater to house my water a few days before a water change. I was going to use a Maxi-Jet 1200 to circulate the water. I was wondering if this same pump would be strong enough to actually pump the water into the tank so I would not have to be lifting buckets? Anyone used one of these to do that?

According to this table (http://www.reefs.org/library/pumps/) (a great resource, IMO), a maxi-jet 1200 will work with up to 6' of head pressure. How far are you pumping?

I use a Maxi Jet 1200 to mix and pump the water to my tank. Works fine!
