yah im setting up a 125 gallon and i wam gonna put my green terror in it...and i was wanting some suggestions for some tank mates ....any ideas?

Green terrors can be bullys so it is trial by fire. Only put in fish that have a good chance to defend themselves or you will just be feeding him. Make sure you add fish that are currently around his size. Hopefully he is small so they can grow up together. If not I wish you good luck. ;)

Jack Dempsey's are beautiful fish that tend to do well with GT's. Others that might work are Oscars, Blue Acaras, Red Devils, Pike (careful they get large)and Plecos will work. I'm sure there are other South Americans cichlids which will mix just try googling them to see.

well hes not excatly small hes about 3inches now he was around a inch when i first got him....

No that's good 3 inches is what I meant by small, perfect time to add some of the fish I mentioned.

The most common fish to go with gren terrors are oscars, red devils, jaguars, and jack dempseys. But all of these fish can very greatly in agression levels. Its best to grow them together young. Introducing new fish when the current fish are full grown can be difficult.

A texas cichlid might be good too. However, the two that I bought both got hole in the head.

Of all the cichlids that I had (all the ones above), the red devils have been the most disease resistant. Maybe its just luck, but out of four red devils, none have died of disease. The oscar and texas cichlids quickly died of hole in the head after I got them. the jaguar cichlids have been disease resistant as well.
