Breakdown Eclipse

My Pfec 06 Eclipse aquarium's filter system has stopped running. The motor is getting power as it is making noise though no water is being pulled up. What to do? Do you have a resolution to this problem?

I called Marineland and found out the problem. The impeller was stuck. It was just a matter of pulling off the plastic housing. The service rep at Marineland was helpful.

You should check the impeller everytime you clean your tank, just to make sure everything is running in tip top shape. :)

That what I usually do when I "tend" to my tank. I clean the gravel and change the water at the same time. I add a bit of salt, rinse off the filter media if needed, clean out the intake tube, and quickly look to see if anything is stuckin the filter.
