NEVER MIND....DECIDED TO GO AN UNUSUAL ROUTE. WENT TO HOME DEPO AND BOUGTH A 4 FT LONG, 2 BULB, CHROMED SHOP LIGHT THAT HAS A WALLPLUG. HUNG IT FROM CEILING OVER TANK AND WORKS GREAT WITH EGG CRATE (LIGHT DIFFUSER GRID) AS THE TOP OF TANK. WILL GET GLASS WHEN I CAN FIND.

Hehe, I did the same thing. I almost hung it above the tank too. I Got the stainless steel shop light for $14 at Lowes, then mounted it in the canopy i just built.
 
Cool...I just hung mine off the ceiling with 2 hooks and chain...figure I can throw some plaster in the holes when I move.
