medications for African Dwarf Frog

Hi! I added Melafix to my tank this weekend and since then I think an African dwarf frog has shed his skin twice. That can't be good. It occurs to me that the Melafix is bad for ADFs. I have Googled in vain to find a list of medinces that are safe for ADFs. Does anyone know what medicines are safe?

Also, there is no carbon in my filter. Should I do a partial water change for the sake of the ADFs or just remove them to a temporary tank until I can put carbon back in the filter?
