Using the same water for multiple tanks...

We recently purchased an Oceanic tank and have moved our fish over to it. Several of our female's (Molly's, Guppies, and Platty's) are pregnant so we have moved them to a 25 gallon tank. This smaller tank sits below the larger tank in the stand and I would like to circulate the water from the large tank through the small tank. I am trying to get away from having to monitor water levels on more than one tank. Note that I am not trying to quarantine them. In this picture you can see my setup. On the right is an Oceanic Sump3 system and the smaller tank is to the left of that. Any thought's on a way to circulate the filtered water from the sump over to the smaller tank?

Thanks for the help

Internal overflow in the top tank with a pump to return--basically a slow flow sump. Search on DIY sumps and you should get lots of info for the plumbing.
