I picked up 5 Trochus snails today and one of them had this red hitchhiker. It reminds me of a brain slug. Does anyone know what it is? Sorry the pictures aren't of better quality, but I don't have a good digital camera.

i seen something at my LFS that looked almost exactly like that, but it's base was the redish/maroon color, and the tips of it's really small tenticlas were white
so once again i think it's still an anomane...

If it's an anemone, do I need to do anything special for it? Can I take it of the snail and put it on some live rock? Should I let my clowns try to figure out what it is? heh

it is way too small, and might not be the right type for the clowns to host to it. and anomene's need special lighting, http://www.liveaquaria.com, look them up in there and look at all the difernt types (they dont have every one, but u can get a general idea from it)

good luck with ur hitch hiker,
