I have a 55g Oceanic corner unit w/ overflow, FOWLR setup, about 6 weeks into it now. I threw out the SeaClone 100 the LFS sold me because life is too short to get it to work right. I just replaced the wet/dry trickle filter with a 10 gal aquarium for a sump, put the Euro Reef in it, along with the submersible heater and the pump for the return to the tank. I have MILLIONS of tiny bubbles in the tank now coming from the knuckle type tube that returns the water to the tank. The owners manual with the skimmer has no directions on adjustment, but Euro Reef's website says its excess organics in the water and/or additives in the water that are causing it, and it will continue until the organics are mostly removed or the additives are gone. I don't use additives, and organics are really not high. Any other ideas anyone can provide?

Thanks

I'm sorry that I can't help you with your skimmer. But may I ask what is the problem with the SeaClone 100. I have that skimmer and it seems to be working OK. Generates about 1/2 of the cup full per day.

What was the problem you mentioned?

Sea Clone 100

I set the skimmer up and it worked fine for a couple of weeks until I cleaned it. I was never again able to get it to draw ANYTHING into the collection cup, and it also produced millions of bubbles. None of the adjustments I attempted did me any good. I hope your success continues.
