Looking through numerous methods of CO2 injection I was wondering if anyone has given (or better yet tried) any thought to injection of CO2 at the Inlet Pipe Cap on a XP3??
My thoughts were that a spare Inlet Cap could be modified (drilled ) a line inserted from the CO2 generator of choice, and a bubble counter also inserted in the line. Check valve at appropriate spot also.
My reason for this question is that all commercial CO2 systems have a such a myrid of bells and whistles hanging all over the tank that there must be a better way.
The other thought that comes to mind, will the "bubble" upset the impeller operation making the unit produce noise. Maybe one could put the Inlet Pipe Cap on the output side of the XP3 and do the insertion process there thus circumventing the impeller problem.
Hmmm but then how do we get proper diffusion of the bubble?
Thoughts? Flames? Am I way off base? :idea2:
