Good afternoon. Hoping to get some advice. I have a 25 gallon that's been set up for about 6 months. No ammonia, no nitrite, and small amount nitrate kept under control with water changes. pH is 7.8. General hardness 4.

I have the following fish:

1 New Guinea Red Rainbowfish
1 Blue Dwarf Gourami
4 Cory Cats
1 Bristlenose Cat (young, only about 1 inch long)
4 Black Phantom Tetras
2 Red Phantom Tetras
1 Singaport Shrimp

I also have three neon tetras that soon will be transferred into a smaller tank.

I was at my local LFS today and saw a German Ram. What a beatiful fish!!!. Would this fish be compatible with my current stock? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks so much for any advice.

I think that 1 ram would be ok with that set up...its a well planted/decorated tank and your water parameters are good. Rams do like very good water conditions. I have actually had neons with rams in the past and they were fine, but if you don't want to push your luck, go ahead and move them out of the tank. Good luck!
