Some people break or cut their zoo colonies apart, but you must be careful - some zoos secrete toxins that can make humans or other creatures in the tank very sick or even die. I've noticed that my zoos and other polyps often spread over to the next rock - if you can put the shell close to the zoos and you are patient, they may drift and grow over on their own. Good luck!
