i was told the krib was the least aggrissive of the cichlids, and only grow up to 5inch..

this being said, what other cichlids do well in a semi agressive tank?

yellow jacket? (Pseudotropheus hajomaylandi)

6 tigar barbs
2 gourmies (sp?)
1 dino. eel
1 pitcus catfish (looking for a new home at the moment)
1 red tail shark (~2inch)
1 rainbow shark (~3inch)
10 snails (larg ones)

29 planted tank,

I dont know who told you that kribs are the least aggressive, but thats not true at all. ;) They can be very aggressive and territorial when breeding. I think german blue rams would have the be the least aggressive? Its hard to say. Kribs are less aggressive then larger african and south american cichlids, but still can be mean.

A pair of kribs will work in your tank, but dont add any other cichlids. Cichlids tend to not mix well together in smaller tanks.

In that tank i reccommend only a pair of dwarf cichlids. Such as kribs, german or bolivian rams, or apistos (maybe a harem of these?).
