Looking through this site ive noticed a lot of setups that I woulden't have thought of before. Some of these setups get a lot of people mad or something else. With all of the options open (money and size not an option) what would be a dream aquarium for all you out there,
Me, I would probly try to start a discus tank if there was no restrictons on size or money, maybe with some driftwood and such.

I would go gigantic, 1000 gallons+. I plan to do just that in my next house, I want to build it between the dining room and living room so you can see it from both sides, then make an access room on each end. I love these discus so I would stick with them, hopefully a small school of several variants. Not sure what I would use as tankmates, 500 neon tetras maybe?

Well, if I had Bill Gates money, and there were no limits, I would have thousands of gallons - a huge aquarium like at Monterey - then I would fill the back all the way with rock work, toss in several hundred Mbuna, and swim around with them!

My husband has informed me that our next project will be 8000 gallons....probably just put our existing fish in it, maybe add a couple more Pacus.

I've always been curious about your tank. Got any pics? It sounds awesome!

Thanks! I just posted a picture in SoCal's thread - Show off your 100+ aquarium. There are some more pictures posted in the sticky at the top of this forum - around page 14 or 15, I think. :p

i would definately get a 100,000 gallon tank that was like 4 ft tall and get a lot(100) of angel fish. and id go swimming with them(what a dream huh?)

My tank would be a couple 1000g and would have freashwater stingrays or some large new world cichlids.
