plants still being eaten

what else is eating my plants. i have alreay taken out my plecos and silver dollars and put them in my other tank and still something is eating my plants. i have 2 groumis and 4 barbs one red tailed shark and a bala shark and also to tetras. what else is eating my plants. oh ya i ahve 2 ottos and siamese alge eaters too.

I have seen my male gouramis tear off pieces of leaf to use in making nests. See if you have torn off pieces of leaf on the surface of the water.
 
What type of barbs do you have, I don't know for certain which ones, but do know that some barbs are herbivorous.

Are you sure they are being eaten, and not just developeing holes or wilting. This is how pond snails get a bad rap, the plants die and the snails eat the dead leaves, then folks blame the snails who don't really eat plants. It may be that the plants are having a problem and nothing is actually eating them.

What type of plants, what light, what ferts etc. ? Mabey we can help.
