20 gallon?

Justin
(The cat is about 1 inch big, as well is the pleco)

I'm not positive what wal-mart pleco is, i'll assume common. Those grow 12+inches i believe and produce heavy waste. Which may be a bit much for the 20 gallon.

I would not advise getting any fish from walmart. I had 6 tiger barbs from there and all of them died with in 2 weeks. Also i know somebody who had a well established tank, but had a slight algea problem, so they went to walmart looking for an algea eater of some sort. With in 3 weeks this fish had infected and killed the entire tank of fish!

Do you have a 20 gal? or are these fish that you "have to have" and are asking what size tank to get? You specified the size of fish so I assume you already have them, its the question mark after the tank size that has confused me. I will agree that the common pleco is not a good choice, but would like to add that the barbs would be better off in a group as opposed to a single fish. And BTw, What did Michael Jackson say to the arresting officer? pthhhthththththht!!!!! Ahhhhahahahahahaha, you donkey ****** $^!? eater. :)

I have already set up the 20 gallon. I had the cat, and pleco in the 29 gallon with my kirbensis(or how ever you spell it.) The pleco I've had for about a year and a half. He was in a 55g for a long time. He doesn't seem to grow much. I mean he has, but not much, maybe a inch. He's about 4 inches from mouth to tail. Anyway, thanks for the help. I don't regularly buy from walmart. In actuality its very very rare. The only fish I have purchased there was the pleco. As you see, I've had pretty good luck

If the pleco is four inches it is probably not a common. Check pictures of common plecos and compare to yours. Does it have spots or long protrusions from the nose? Anyway I'd say he is safe if only 4" after that long.
