Betta problem

I have a probleme.... Does any one nows how to care for a betta???
My betta looked sick last night...Normally he's blue and last night he's face was kind of white. This morning as soon that i wake up i went to see my betta. He was okay, he was even more active than usual.
Help me!!!

What does normal mean?
Size of tank?
Any other fish?

my fish is in a 2.5 gallon tank. And the water was at the good temparature 76°.

Ammoina level (ppm)
Nitrite level (ppm)
Nitrate level (ppm)
pH(number)
How offten you do a water change (days)
How much of a water change (gallons)
How much and how often you feed (amount, time)

Ammonia=don't know
Nitrite=????
Ph=????
water change=once a week, 2gallon
feed=twice a day
temp=76°F

If you want our help then go test the water and give us the measurements. If you wont do that, then you probably wont get help.
