Hi, I'm planning to get a 5.5g tank and was wondering about stocking. Would a male betta, 2 panda cories and an african dwarf frog be too much for a cycled tank? Thanks.

I would drop the cories. They really do so much better in a large group and a 5 gallon tank can't handle that. If you want diversity then get 1 male betta, 1 ADF and possibly one of the larger snail varieties. These guys wouldn't compete for each others food as since they are all often slower eaters (at least in the beginning) that is a good thing.

Aww, I really like the panda cories though... =P But I know it'd probably be overstocked like that. Will a snail eat the plants though? Stuff like Java Fern and Moss.
