Okay... So I have a tank that is 5/8th of a gallon (still empty... awaiting sea monkeys). I didnt read the "instructions on how to keep fish" when I got it, but today while I was bored, I decided to look at it.... it actually says that you can keep goldfish in it, and you only have to replace half of the water once a month  Just thought I would share this... (almost as bad as the time when i picked up a 2 gal tank for my baby guppies, and there was a picture of a large ornanda goldfish chillin in there with looks like 5 or 6 tetras)

ROFL, amazing :(

Rofl?

Anyway as long as people like me and you keep our fish in aquariums large enough its cool, the more people that do that the better :)

The people who make tanks likely are not aquariasts, nor are those who market the same product.

I saw one the other day that I think was a 5 gallon aquarium and it had 6-7 gourmais (sp?) in it. It is amazing how igonorant the people producing the product can be.

It's just marketing. A photo of a 10 gallon tank with 15 platies, 10 cories, and 10 rainbows must look better to the general public. (I actually saw this arrangement on a box.)

There's nothing to be done about it, really, either than being responsible in your own choices.

.

I bought a 10 g tank at WalMart and they post these little "Made by Jeff" or "Made by Susan" sticker on there. Its IN between the plastic and the glass, so you can't take it out. DARN YOU SUSAN AND JEFF!!! *shakes fist*
