i got a pregnant platy, at least i think shes pregnant. she has a pink thingy on her butt, and its been there 4 about a week. i dont know if its bad or ok, any ideas?

her vent. and it was pink, round, thats all i can say. but when i was up there minutes ago, she pushed it out. brown stuff,(not poo, brown liquid) came out, and a dead fish embryo, with the tail sticking out of a clear round thingy.shes been "pregnant" since i got her in january, and i think thats why she never birthed on time. so now, shes just fat. but, my male platy and swordtail were tryin 2 mate with her. the swordtail got his thingy in ther, but she got free.(a swordtail platy! weird!)now, im hopin they'll breed succesfully. and have babies

She may have more stillborn fry on the way. Poor thing. And swordtails and platys can interbreed and produce fertile offspring.
how come? and shes still the same size from when she had the pink thingy in her,what'd ya think now?
Because platys and guppies are not closely enough related to interbreed. And, as I said earlier, I think she still has unborn fry in her belly.
