I have 5 little goldfish in a 15 gallon aquarium. Are they over crowded. Should i bye a bigger tank???

Because they were trying to sell you something. The truth of the matter is that fish need to grow their normal size. Otherwise their internal organs get stunted from the hormone they produce in crowded environments that tells their bodies to stop growing. By keeping even one goldfish, let alone five, in a 15 gallon tank you are cruelly condemning it to a very diminshed lifespan with a quality of life no better than if you were living in a 5'x5' closet all of your natural life.SamXXXkiss said:i heard that fish only grow theire normal size if they are in a very big aquarium. At the pet shop they told me that it wouldont be a problem to keep them in my 15 gallon tank.
