Hi.
After purchasing 3 Tropheus Duboisi juveniles and doing a lot of reading I have decided to go back and buy a bunch more, perhaps as many as ten. In everything I have read it is recommended to remove some of the males when they get bigger so that you have a ratio of several females to each male. My question is, what are you supposed to do with the males? It seems to me that it would be a bad idea to move them to another tank as they would become very aggressive and kill each other. Does this mean that they are to be killed? It seems like a no win situation for those poor fish! I would be interested to know what others have done with thier "surplus males".
